DETAG are dedicated as a business to just graffiti management – whether its removing graffiti and tags in the most effective and efficient way possible without causing any damage to surfaces or protecting surfaces from future attacks.

We have invested in the very best restorative system to ensure that all the unwanted graffiti/tagging is removed without a trace, and equally as important, no damage is caused to the surface beneath. The same system is used to keep monuments like the Cenotaph and all the stonework in Trafalgar Square in London in pristine condition and graffiti-free.

On porous surfaces like brick and stone, we use water superheated up to a constant 150 degrees and delivered under much lower controlled pressure. The temperature and mechanical effect of the superheated water which remains in liquid form have vastly superior results to high pressure jet washing, steam cleaning or soft wash cleaning. We supplement our superheated water system with the best commercial strength, 100% biodegradable and REACH compliant cleaning agents that are produced right here in the UK.

We use the same trusted UK manufacturer of these tried and tested 100% biodegradable cleaning agents to remove graffiti & tags from most non-porous and solid surfaces – quick and fully effective, with no damage to the surface underneath.

Our specialist restorative cleaning system is self-powered and self-sufficient so we can just turn up in our ULEZ compliant vehicle and start working. We carry our own large water supply and can generate all the power we need on-board the van where a local power source isn’t accessible. We are IPAF and PASMA trained/accredited and fully insured to work at heights in excess of 15 metres.

The class leading efficiency and speed of our superheated water cleaning system is second to none, with greatly reduced water usage. There is minimal noise pollution as it is also the quietest in its class. We run it on electric and biofuel only.

Only REACH certified, biodegradable cleaning agents are used which are fully neutralised by water. We have a zero waste commitment: all unused cleaning agents & materials are recycled & reused. Geotextile membranes capture all paint solids which are taken away by us to be disposed of correctly.

Our new ULEZ compliant vehicle meets low emissions standards in London. We will be making the switch to fully electric as soon as the loss in range from heavier payloads improves.

We reduce our carbon footprint further by offsetting any remaining unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) produced by our business through Carbon Neutral Britain ™ for Small Business certification.

Our back of house is fully paperless. All quotes, invoices and receipts are emailed, and all payments conducted online or in person. We email before/after images for our customers to access.

DETAG are a Brighton based company and not a national business just advertising in the area. We aim to offer a 24-48 hour turnaround time from first contact to removal so that you don’t have to deal with your tagged or graffitied property for any longer than is necessary. In most instances, we’d hope to provide a same day end-to-end removal service.

Graffiti/tag removal often needs to be done outside of normal working hours. Whether is first thing before a shop opens or later at night when there are no customers. We are here to support you 24/7.

Because our cleaning system is self-powered and self-efficient, we do not require access to power or water if none is available which means we can also just drive up, switch on and start work immediately any time of the day or night. We carry lighting on the vehicle to operate in hours of darkness which illuminate any sites we are working on.
